Vista Suite 4237 on the Carnival Pride is on the 4th deck (Main) and located on the Starboard side (right). It has a maximum occupancy of 2 people.
Do note that it is a connecting stateroom to the Aft-View Extended Balcony 4239 next door which has a maximum occupancy of 3 people. If you are traveling with a party of 4 or 5, booking both these rooms would be ideal as you can leave the connecting door open. Otherwise, please realize that you may hear your neighbors when you're in your sitting room as the connecting doors don't exactly block out all noise.
When you enter Vista Suite 4237, you immediately notice that you have an actual foyer which leads to your living room. There's a granite counter top with a mirror wall. A glass shelf holds water, wine, and champagne glasses.
The living room has a couch, granite topped adjustable table, and a chair. The connecting door is on the right wall between the couch and the window. There's also a small desk with an ottoman, a phone and a TV above that. The mini fridge is found in the cabinet below.
From the living room, you have the choice to enter the dressing room (to the left) or go to the hallway and either exit onto your balcony (to the right) or continue straight to the bedroom.
There is pocket door between the living room and dressing room which is a nice feature if you have guests visiting your cabin but wish to separate the private areas from the living room and balcony. Or maybe you want to surprise your partner with your Elegant Night outfit!
The 4th deck Vista Suites have the largest dressing rooms which feature a large three-side granite vanity, ottoman, lights surrounding the mirror, and 5 storage drawers. You'll find a hair dryer in the top right drawer and an outlet to the left of the middle drawer.
From the dressing room, you have 4 options: return to the living room, go to the bedroom, enter the walk-in closet, or enter the bathroom.
The (step up) bathroom features a granite counter top and a double vanity! You'll find a trash can built in under the sink in the middle with a storage cabinet below each sink. Above the trash can is the tissue dispenser. There's an outlet coming off the ceiling in the bathroom for razor use only. There are 3 glass corner shelves on both sides of the bathroom mirror giving you a total of 6 shelves for toiletries. Unlike regular staterooms that come with showers, Vista Suites have a jetted tub!
The bedroom has a king (or two twin beds), and the second TV and phone with a cabinet housing the room safe below and 4 large drawers below that.
There's a granite topped ledge above the bed which runs the length of the room. There's also a second set of light switches that control the entire suite right above the bed (super convenient!).
Vista Suite 4237 features an additional window in the bedroom that some other Vista Suites do not have.
The balcony is HUGE! Deck 4 has the largest deck of all Vista Suites. They are both the longest and widest with the railing standing almost completely upright. They're also completely covered and private.
You get a corner wrap around balcony with 2 lounge chairs, 4 standard chairs and 2 tables.
The part of the balcony that wraps around is almost the same size as a regular balcony. When I said this balcony is huge, I wasn't kidding!
If you're the type of cruiser who also enjoys some private downtime in your room, I absolutely recommend spending some extra money to get a Vista Suite!
Vista Suites are my absolute favorite type of cabin on the Carnival Pride, particularly deck 4 Vista Suites because both the cabin and balcony are the largest. Even the foyer is super wide!
One thing to note is that being on deck 4 and right above the Main Dining Room (MDR), you will hear bass and music blasting twice every night during "Showtime". I didn't mind but if you're traveling with someone that goes to bed by 7pm, they may get disturbed nightly.
Cruise Hack: The walls are magnetic!
Purchase some magnetic hooks and put them on the walls to hold your hats, lanyards with your cruise card, and other small items to minimize clutter and keep things organized!
Differences between Vista Suites on various decks:
Deck 5 has the smallest room with Deck 6 being the 2nd smallest room/layout.
Deck 4 has the largest layout and a completely private (covered) balcony.
The balconies get less wide with less privacy as you go up each level. On Deck 8, people standing at the railing at Serenity can look straight down onto your balcony. Deck 8 people can look down at Deck 7; Deck 7 can look at Deck; and so on.
Deck 7 and 8 Vista Suites are pretty equal and have a maximum capacity of 3 guests.
