Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast on Carnival

The Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast is offered on the last sea day on Carnival ships. The cost is $10 per adult and $8 per child. There's a special Green Eggs and Ham breakfast menu, but you can also order normal breakfast items.

We booked this breakfast on the Carnival Legend in November 2022. I booked it prior to our cruise via the specialty dining section of the cruise manager. You can also book it onboard but you risk it being sold out by the time you board. As previously mentioned, it's offered on the last sea day with only two time slots available.

As we walked into the dining room, there was a huge ice sculpture of the Cat in the Hat.

Each table has a red or light blue table cloth and is decorated with Cat in the Hat decorations. There are also some Cat in the Hat sculptures scattered throughout. You definitely feel like you're walking into a Dr. Seuss themed breakfast.

Children are given an activity book which doubles as an autograph collector. You'll have various Dr. Seuss characters make an appearance. Someone comes up to your table, stamps the autograph book of each child and then lets you know it is your time to go to the entrance in order to get pictures taken with each character.

The food selections are inspired by the book and actually come out looking like something straight out of Green Eggs and Ham!

We ordered the Truffula Tree Pancakes, Horton's Cereal-Crusted French Toast, and of course, Green Eggs and Ham!

My son had a slightly hard time getting over the green color of the eggs, although it didn't change the taste. Something to consider before you order them!

Overall, this breakfast is super cute and definitely should be booked if you or your children are into Dr. Seuss/Green Eggs and Ham. My girls (1 and 2 year old) were into the decorations but a bit too young to enjoy the characters. They were too scared to get close to them for pictures. My 9 year old son loved it though and had no problem taking pictures with each character! Will we do it again? Probably not. But it was a fun nonetheless!
