We visited the Grand Turk Lighthouse as a stop on the Top 10 Best of Grand Turk shore excursion from Carnival. Truly the highlight of the tour as there really is not much to see in Grand Turk - it's only 6.95 square miles!
The lighthouse was built in 1852 and is the most famous landmark of Grand Turk. It's the only lighthouse in all the Turks and Caicos Islands though it is no longer operational. It's located on the opposite end of the island from the Cruise Centre and therefore is not accessible without transportation.
The entrance fee is $3 per person which can be applied towards the cost of a beverage or item from the gift shop. If you visit via a tour, the admission price may be included.
Something unexpected but fun are the friendly wild donkeys that roam around!
